Structure-based protection

SoSkild cases get their protection from a structure that is incorporated into the edges of the cases. This Zigzag structure is based on the triangle. The triangle has been used as a building structure for thousands of years. Of structures from the time of the Egyptians, such as in the Pyramids of Giza, to contemporary architecture such as the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate bridge. The triangle is also prominent in nature. For example, the razor-sharp teeth of a great white shark and of course the towering peaks of the Himalayas. So you can say that the triangle is a structure that has proven itself over and over!

The triangle

The triangle is known in physics as one of the strongest structures in existence. When impact occurs on the tip of the triangle, the unique shape of the triangle causes it to change direction. By incorporating the triangle into the edges of our case, an impact is sent to the edges of your case instead of into your phone!

Diamond shaped corners

Another structure that SoSkild has applied is the diamond shaped corners. By building the corners of the cases from squares instead of round, the case will bounce less often and will stop more quickly. Less chance of a fatal fall!

Pyramid Corner Protection

Since 2019, SoSkild's Absorb and Defend cases have a pyramid-shaped structure in the corners of the cases. The pyramid structure uses the same forces that have kept the Pyramids of Giza standing for centuries. This structure ensures that the impact on the corners is guided in 4 directions away from the precious device that is in the case. This protects your smartphone even better against damage.
